The Parents are the first Teachers and the Teachers are the second parents.
In order to secure all that is best in the education of your children, the maximum co-operation between parents and school authorities is desired. So the parents are expected to keep in touch with the school authorities and enquire about the progress of their children. They are also expected to go through the rules and regulations of the school carefully and see that they are followed by their children.
Kindly discourage your child from taking leave as far as possible.
Go through your child’s diary daily, to check whether there is a message for you and countersign it.
Keep in touch with the day to day progress of your child and discuss it with the Principal regularly at the appointed hours
Criticism of the school or teachers in a child’s presence should be strictly avoided, because it causes the child to lose his/her faith in the school and the teachers with the consequent failure in formation and studies.
The school teachers do not take tuitions for their own class students. So, do not force them to teach your wards privately.
Kindly inform the school if there is any change in address and the telephone number.
If a child fails to reach the school in time and does not attend the assembly, he will be sent back home or to detention class.
Only English should be spoken in the school premises in order to obtain a command over spoken English. Parents are requested to encourage this practice at home also.
After every terminal examination, the parents of the students who have not performed well, will have to meet the Principal, to take the Progress Reports in person, at the appointed time which will be informed through an intimation.
Parents are requested to examine the Progress Report issued after the unit test and the terminal exams, and take up remedial measures in consultation with the Principal.
Parents are requested to contact the school office for any official purpose.
Parents are welcome to see the Principal between 8.30 a.m. to 9.30 a.m. on all working days on prior appointment.
Parents/Guardians may see the teachers or the children only after obtaining permission from the principal. They are requested not to enter and disturb classes.
Parents are requested not to speak to the teachers during school hours. Parents who seek information or who wish to make some complaint should do so to the Principal and not to the teacher.
The entrusting of a child to the school implies that the parents agree to abide by the rules and regulations and the decision of the school. Parents should see that their children prepare home lessons properly and devote at least 2– 3 hours in the evening to their studies.
As education is primarily the responsibility of the parents, they are expected to co-operate with the school community with regard to students integral growth. Therefore, parents are requested to follow up the child in its process of growth and maintain a cordial, cooperative relationship with the school authorities.
Any damage or loss to school properties by the students will be notified to his/her parent or guardian, and it shall be their obligation to replace or compensate for the loss.
Neither the management nor the teachers will be responsible for the safety of the children on their way to school and back. It is up to the parents or guardians to see to their safety on the way.
Wearing jewellery in the school is strictly forbidden. Parents are advised not to give their children valuable articles like costly watches, pens etc. The school will not be responsible for such things lost even if in the school premises.
No Parent is permitted to take any action against any of our school children for his misconduct.
No school business will be transacted on holidays or after the office hours.
