Regular attendance is a key requisite for a good student and St. Paul’s school attaches much importance to it.
Students must be punctual and regular in the class. Late comers should not enter the class without the written permission. Attendance will not be given for the latecomers and the school is not responsible for such students.
No Student may absent himself without obtaining leave previously, in writing. If for any grave reason, a student is absent without prior permission, on his/her return he/she shall submit a letter from the parent, stating the reason for the absence and obtain permission before entering the class. For absence of more than 5 consecutive days, the parent must meet the Principal with the student.
All applications for leave should be made in writing and duly signed by the parent or legal guardian of the student and should reach the Principal’s office before the commencement of the class.
The student who has absented himself for more than three days without prior permission, must on his return, obtain a written permission from the principal to re-enter the class. Leave absence and late attendance record of the students must always be kept up-to-date.
If a student is absent from school for more than15days without proper Information in writing, his/her name shall be removed from the register. Re-admission, if granted, will only be after the payment of a fresh admission fee.
